Arriba Burrito (St.Dénis)& Arriba Brunch Reviews
Authentic Mexican flavors served by an amazing host. Nachos were hot and fresh, the tacos were so flavorful. It was a highlight of our trip to Montreal. Will definitely be back again and again.
The birria tacos were phenomenal. A bit on the pricier side for three birria tacos but they came with a full bowl of consume and chips and guac on the side. The guac was so delicious. The decorations were so nice. You could sit outside, inside or in a kind of indoor patio. We sat in the indoor patio area and it was lovely. They had music playing the whole time which really added a nice vibe to the atmosphere.
A brunch restaurant that I would go back to and recommend to other people The staff was very patient and I appreciate our waitress warning us about the sizes of the plates before locking in without orders. With that said the plates are quite hefty and huge for one person. Each dish is shareable. With the menu prices, it looks expensive but the price definitely matches the amount and quality of food you are getting. We chose to sit on the back terrasse which was very well lit and decorated. We did not wait too long for the food at all. __________ [Spinach omelet]: tatses great for a light brunch, not too salty or cheesy. [Ham omelet]: quite filling for one person, tastes great [3 beef birria tacos]: simply one of the best . The waitress recommended it and it did not disappoint. [Chillaquiles]: devoured in a matter of minutes [Creme brulee pancakes]: perfect and lovely presentation. Came in a very huge plate with lots of berries. Pancakes were fluffy and spongy but a bit too buttery for my taste. It is not as sweet as it looks too. We distributed the dish into five pieces and was a great way to end our savoury brunch. * Forgot what my friend ordered but the dish was spicy. Flavour was great but definitely trust the menu when it says spicy, its spicy. _____________ cookie latte: tasted just like a regular latte but with sweetness from the lotus biscuit marzipan latte: again, just like a regular latte. Cannot taste the marzipan at all. ___________ We arrived hungry from a very long trip and left with a very full belly ready to walk around Old Montreal.
Food was excellent, drinks were even better and server (Violot I think was her name...she said like the Violin) was very helpful and interesting to talk to.
Excellent brunch experience! The drinks were very well done (both alcoholic and non), and their take on brunch classics was a refreshing change. The enchiladas were delicious and cream cheese French toast amazing! Although the wait for food was a bit long, the waiter checked in on us multiple times. Restaurant’s decor was very cozy!
It was an amazing experience from start to finish! It all began with delicious drinks like the Pina Colada and a mezcal sour, both perfectly crafted by Karen — the most charming and proudly Mexican-Indian host, always attentive and wearing a warm, welcoming smile. The food was exceptional. The burritos were fantastic, but the birria? Absolutely out of this world — a burst of rich, meaty flavor in a sauce I’ll never forget. To top it all off, we had the chance to try Arriba, a new tequila they’re producing. I’m counting the days until it hits the shelves at the SAQ so I can relive this incredible night. Huge thanks to the entire staff, always helpful and smiling. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Food was fantastic. Prices are fairly justified , quantity and quality in each dish! I would 100% recommended. Our waitress Evelyn was a totally sweetheart and her service was 10/10.
I spent my birthday brunch here and they accommodated our big group so nicely and made me feel so special such a wonderful place! The food is absolutely amazing and delicious - true to Mexican cuisine. You can’t go wrong by coming here to eat and experience this wonderful restaurant
